Need a shop recommendation…

Hi Fellow Porsche Gruppe’s,

The hydraulics on my 996 convertible top needs to be replaced.

Can anyone recommend any shop on the cape, that could do the job?

    There are people who work on Porsches located on the cape, but my guess is that top hydraulics are out of the scope of many independent shops. I’m sure SSA in Kingston could do the job, but (obviously) they’re not on the Cape. But closer (and cheaper) than a Porsche dealer.

    There are a few independent shops on the Cape, but don’t think they could handle top hydraulics. SSA in Kingston could do it — they’re (obviously) not on the Cape, but closer and cheaper than a dealer. Good luck!

    The guys at Enhanced Auto in Chatham just repaired my 911 Carrera 4S convertible top. They could handle replacement but I will caution you that they did mention to me that it is a bear to get to it and replace it.

    I like the guys at Enginuity too. They also do good work and will be familiar with your car.
