I have a 1972 Porsche 914 (1.7) that developed a few pin holes in the under section (that runs along the tunnel) over a year or so stay in a damp environment (during move transition) that I would like to patch up. Also one of the lift posts has a rust hole under it (maybe a 2 x3 patch)…neither problems are big jobs for someone who knows how to weld sheet metal (and of course has equipment). I could take it from there.
The car is not drivable at this time (in the final stages of a 5 year restore)…was thinking maybe come to my garage (Orleans) to do this. Hoping there is a Gruppe member out there interested in taking on the task. Willing to reasonably compensate if required.
Thanks in advance.
