If you haven’t come across this auction/event yet, it’s worth a quick look. Rudi Klein gathered discarded vehicles and parts for years and years.
The hulks and pieces took up acres of land and barn space. Then Sotheby’s held an auction in late October. Just for kicks, I searched “356” on their site with this URL https://rmsothebys.com/auctions/rk24/lots/#?SortBy=Default&SearchTerm=356&page=1&pageSize=40
For a more extensive look, Google Rudi Klein junkyard and search Ferrari or Maybach, Porsche or whatever– watch a few videos.
It’s a better experience than watching the Patriots lose. The background is that after moving from Germany to LA in the 50s, Rudi started a business called Porsche Foreign Auto Wrecking and set up a junkyard. The rest is history.
